Unique 3/4-size VIOLA (vintage, excellent condition) - $444

When I was 9 years old and started to study Viola, I was too small to be able to handle a normal-sized instrument,
so my parents had a special "3/4-sized" Viola fitted for me (from a quality Violin) by Geo. Heinl & Co in Toronto
(I still have the receipt for the new parts and work done at that time).








I used that Viola when I was the youngest member of the London Youth Symphony at age 11, and until I grew big
enough to use a full-sized instrument. While I have a huge emotional attachment to the Viola for posterity, there
comes a time to let things go so others can enjoy them as well, and that time has come for my special 3/4-size Viola.

The instrument is in excellent condition, and has always been carefully used and stored. Includes 1 bow (with
resin), hard case (handle needs to be re-fastened) and outer protective cover. Easy to tune / holds its tune well.

This chest is in exquisite condition, save a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes which are hardly noticeable

a piece of wood broke off... it is very difficult to notice the damage, and the pieces are there to be easily
fixed by the new owner (we prefer to show the flaw & allow the new owner to repair it in the way they see fit).
